Fall Events

The past few months have been very busy at the Center, but we wanted to catch everyone up on what we have been doing. Here are just a FEW of the fun things we have participated in and a few thank you's! 

Activities at the Center: 

100+ Women Who Care

The Euell Wilson Center was chosen by the 100+ Women Who Care group as a recipient for a $27,700 donation. A big thank you to the women in our community that help make their city a better place to live!!

20/30 Club 

Several of our students got to work with the 20/30 Club of Fort Wayne this past Fall. Each child is paired with a member of the group and given a $100 gift card for back-to-school shopping. In addition, the children receive a backpack full of supplies for the upcoming school year.

Circuit Club Fort Wayne

A hand full of students got a chance to learn more about model airplanes. From how they work, to how to fly them, students enjoyed their day with the club. Thanks for having us!!

Thank You To: 

County Line Church 

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our friends at County Line Church in Auburn, Indiana. For over a decade, they have helped the Center thrive through volunteers, donations and prayers.

Last month, they held a fundraising event just for us. For every person the Center brought it, they made an extra donation. This money will go towards general operations at the Center. 

They also had a big group come out and help us clean up a few special projects. More on that soon! 

Concordia Lutheran High School

This month, Concordia Lutheran High School performed their annual Day of Service. We were lucky enough to host several of their kind and wonderful students for the day. Throughout their service, students helped clean the Center’s storage area – a place that was in desperate need of organization and a good wipe down.

Lincoln Financial

Big shout out of thanks for Lincoln Financial! As a big supporter of the Center for decades, Lincoln donated kitchen equipment which will aid us in future goals!

Thank you so much for the ice cream machine and refrigerators! Due to the kindness of Fort Wayne businesses, our community can grow stronger together as we work to make our future better.   

We couldn't run the Center if it wasn't for so many of our great community members. These are just a few of the organization who have recently helped us, but we would like to say thank you to everyone else that has devoted their time to our cause!
